Child Protection and Growth

DYIU is dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing educational opportunities, basic needs, and support to help them know and demand their rights. We believe that every child has the right to a safe, healthy and fulfilling life. We work to raise awareness and shape policies to ensure children are protected and provided for, no matter where they live. Our team is passionate about making a difference and creating lasting change for vulnerable children in our communities.

Vocational skills training

DYIU is committed to helping families break the cycle of poverty and unemployment in their communities. Through our vocational skilling and training programs, we empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to earn a sustainable living and provide for their families. In addition to job skills training, we also support youth through VSLA groups by teaching financial literacy and how to invest for the future.

Dependable Youth Initiative is dedicated to empowering youth through sustainable and profitable means of livelihoods. We believe that agriculture is a key aspect of achieving this, which is why we offer a variety of training programs in areas such as vegetable growing, fruit farming, poultry, piggery, beekeeping and tree farming. Our goal is to help young people create successful livelihoods for themselves, while also making a positive impact on their communities.

Save Women & girls from violence

DYIU sensitizes gender equality in its area of operation, Girls deserve to be free from Early marriages and temptations brought up by a lack of basic needs from their families. This is why DYIU trains girls in schools to make reusable sanitary pads as well as advocating gender rights to make them live free in societies without fear from other opposite gender.
