1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Dependable Youth Initiative Uganda (DYIU), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young mothers through economic empowerment, skills development, advocacy, and livelihood support.
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Eligibility.
DYIU services are primarily designed for youth and vulnerable populations in Uganda. Participants must meet the criteria for specific programs, including age, residence, and need as outlined in program descriptions.
3. Service Access and Participation
Participation in DYIU programs is voluntary and subject to availability and eligibility.
DYIU reserves the right to deny access to its services in cases of misconduct or false representation.
Services provided may include but not limited to economic empowerment, skills training, mentorship, counseling, climate conservation and support kits.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
Stakeholders (e.g., funders, partners, community leaders) engaging with DYIU must do so with mutual respect, transparency, and commitment to ethical practices.
5. Intellectual Property
All training materials, resources, and content provided by DYIU remain the intellectual property of the organization and may not be reproduced or redistributed without prior written consent.
6. Code of Conduct
All participants, staff, and stakeholders must adhere to the organization's Code of Conduct, which emphasizes:
Respect and non-discrimination
Safety and protection of all individuals
Transparency and accountability
7. Limitation of Liability
DYIU shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in its programs or use of its services.
8. Modifications
DYIU reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of services after such
changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
