Who We Are
Dependable Youth Initiative Uganda is a registered Community non-governmental organization committed to empowering the youth and women through vocational skilling, agri-business, Gender rights and equality, environment conservation, and reproductive health education.
Our mission is to help young people and women acquire the skills and knowledge they need to become self-sufficient and provide support to help them overcome the challenges they face. We work to promote sustainable development and build a bright future for the youth of Uganda and beyond. Poverty, unemployment, human right violation and climate change are the direct problems DYIU is addressing and solving through different projects.
Domestic violence and Early pregnancies among young girls are rampant in communities and is majorly caused by Poverty and Unemployment that makes families to lack basic needs which results into over reliant hence family fights that results into human right violation.
Our Mission
Empowering Communities while creating equal opportunities among people to improve livelihoods while reducing poverty, Unemployment, Domestic violence and preserving climate.
